A successful transformation and rebranding of the lobby and building at large can be looked at from the inside out: *Facade re-clad in Virginia Mist Granite & Glass with brushed stainless steel fins and cable supports *Facade highlighted with a continuous band of LED light *Slot windows *Recessed glass wall at the ground level *Silver limestone flooring transitions from interior to exterior *Metal louver canopies provide shading for pedestrians The corner entry leads into a grand lobby space with a lounge area that provides an opportunity for informal tenant meetings. A centrally located security desk with concealed technology and modern finishes is highlighted by a zone of Virginia Mist on the walls and floors. Aquasol quartzite takes the place of the travertine on the walls throughout with accents of Concordia to tie in the new exterior cladding and provide a backdrop for tenant signage. Wood walls distinguish the elevator lobbies and backlit glass doors brighten the space. The once gold-leafed ceilings have been removed and replaced with clean white gypsum ceilings with updated LED lighting. Textured glass feature walls and a light installation above the escalators draw traffic from the tunnels and signify the arrival to 811 Louisiana.
